Winston's recuperation of his left leg Tightrope surgery is going SO well! We have been able to increase his walks by about 5 minutes each week so by the end of week 8 we're up to 30-35 minutes per walk (3-4 times a day).
Winston shows signs of soreness with his right leg now after a longer walk so sometimes we can't push him past 30 minutes.
At our eight week post-surgical visit, everyone at AMVS was so happy to see Winston and see that he was doing really well. A lot of the nurses came by to say hi while we waited for our appointment (I'm usually a little early). They took x-rays and said that the bone had fully healed -- hooray!
We scheduled the surgery for his right leg for next week (9 weeks after his first surgery).
